Bio:
Steven J. Rogers has served as a Research Analyst at the Florida State University Foundation since joining the organization in early 2008. Prior to his move to the FSU Foundation, Steve spent almost 4 years with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, most recently serving as Branch Manager of the company’s Panama City Beach, Florida, office. Other highlights of his illustrious career include folding clothes at American Eagle Outfitters, twirling his whistle and telling kids not to run on the pool deck as a lifeguard, and collecting thousands of grocery carts in sweltering heat as a bagboy at Kroger grocery stores.
Like so many of today’s youth, Steve was initially attracted only to the obvious, superficial benefits of being a prospect researcher – the fame, the fortune, the “Hollywood” lifestyle. But somewhere beyond the glamour of the board nominations, wealth analysis, and data mining, Steve realized that he genuinely enjoyed the work he was doing, and in particular relished the opportunity to overcome the variety of unique challenges that may present themselves on any given day.
Steve is a graduate of The Florida State University College of Business, earning a bachelor of science with a concentration in marketing in 2004. Steve enjoys running, golfing, and managing and playing on the FSU Foundation Razors softball team. He is also an enthusiastic (by “enthusiastic,” I mean borderline crazy) fan of all things and sports teams associated with his beloved alma mater.
