Director of Professional Development Bio: Lorraine recently joined Hospice by the Sea Foundation and was with Nova Southeastern University (NSU) from January 2000 until 2011 and led the Prospect Management and Advancement Research department since May 2004. She expanded the unit in staff and resources to undertake its first capital campaign. Lorraine has been a member of APRA International and APRA- Florida for ten years. Her knowledge in the field has led to her presenting at the 2011 AFP Florida workshop on the topic of 'Research in a Small Shop', and she has consulted with organizations setting out to create a research unit.
A new member of the APRA FL board, Lorraine previously served on the scholarship committee two years in a row. She is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professional (AFP) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). A graduate of NSU, Lorraine completed her BA in 2004 and MBA in 2009.
